Verbier is situated on a sun-drenched south west facing plateau and world famous for the varied slopes of its ski area and for its “apres-ski” where you can unwind until the early hours.

Verbier is also one of the highest resorts in the Alps and therefore boasts an excellent snow record offering one of the longest seasons in Europe.

Verbier Restaurants and bars are numerous on the piste and in the village ranging from traditional Swiss—raclette & fondue to Sushi, Italian, Indian, Pizzerias, Chinese, Creperies.

For a special treat why not book a table at La Marmotte, a traditional swiss mountain restaurant and the best bit is the skidoo ride up and the night time sledge run back. Highly recommended.
Verbier Après-ski is from 4 to 7p.m in every bar, from simply relaxing with a beer or dancing on the tables to live bands in the Farinet.

Nightlife varies from the Mont-Fort– a lively and busy pub-bar popular with the seasonaires, The Nelson - a traditional English pub to Crok No Name - an international bar with live music. Also a variety of clubs from The Casbah - popular international dance music to the infamous Farm Club or the more upmarket Club Coco for some celebrity watching.
Verbier Non-Skiers can meet up with your party for lunch at a mountain restaurant by foot or by lift. Visit the Mont Fort glacier. There are also numerous walks with a number of other activities like parapenting, swimming, ice skating, sledging, massages, beauty treatments, cinema and of course relaxing whilst taking in the stunning scenery.

Getting Around Getting Around in Verbier is easy and free. The resort itself is all within walking distance and takes no more than 30 minutes to stroll from one end of the resort to the other. However if you don't feel like walking then Verbier has a regular and efficient (well it is Switzerland!!) bus service, and the best part is it's all free.
During the winter season, four routes (Carrefour via Savolyeres, Le Hameau and Les Esserts via Savolyeres; Patier which passes by the Sports Center, and Verbier Village) run daily from 8am to 7.20pm, at regular offset intervals of 15 minutes. All routes pass through Place Centrale and Médran (the main lift station), meaning there’s a bus service between these two points every 5 minutes or so.
